CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
“I came to Jackie for some technical matters about my hearing loss, and as she ran some amazing tests, she expertly ruled out the operable options for me and narrowed my solution down to a type of hearing aid that I had not really considered before. Being a bit of a curmudgeon, it was only her pleasant methodical testing that gave me the confidence to continue on with a purchase of these specific hearing aids. Jackie told me how much of a difference this aid setup was going to improve my life, and I put aside my natural skepticism because I had confidence in her. That was well earned confidence, as it turns out, because the type and utility of the hearing aids I got really did improve my life remarkably as she said. My interaction in meetings and in public spaces is remarkably better. I don’t have to lip read anymore, and I can see that I am less bothersome to some people that want to communicate freely with me and I can play sports with the hearing aids in! Jackie really exceeded my expectations by a wide margin, so I am writing this down for others.” -Jace Hobbs, Nelson
“I want to thank you for all your help and thoughtfulness the last few months. The new aids have already made a big difference to my daily life. Its so good to be part of conversations, especially with friends and family. Thanks again.” -Liz Sheehan, Reefton
“I was expertly fitted with my first hearing aids by Jackie in the first half of 2021. The outcome for me was a great improvement in my hearing ability. I was also delighted with the bluetooth connectivity and quality, to the extent that It has become my preferred way of listening to music, tv , YouTube etc. I recently completed my first annual checkup, which was carried out this time by Anita. This was again a great experience, done in an expert, attentive, informative and very friendly manner. Although the testing revealed no apparent significant changes, Anita was able to make subtle changes to the response of my right hearing aid to counteract the age related changes that I had slowly become aware of. This has restored what I perceive as a significantly better hearing balance. Anita is a major asset to Little Bird Audiology and I would not hesitate to use her audiology expertise when needed again.” -Russell Jordan, Ruby Bay
"Little did I appreciate how small my world had become over the last few years. I’ve been stubbornly denying hearing loss for years, repelling my families cloth eared complaints and driving them bonkers. I’m so pleased with the aids just walking out on the deck in the morning and hearing the birds for the first time in years is really joyous . Thank you so much Jackie for your patience and perseverance." -Matt Colling, Nelson
“At the recommendation of a friend, I went to Little Bird Audiology more than a year ago and had a thorough exam and discussion. At that time, I opted to not get hearing aids. A year later I went back, and we went through the whole procedure again. Jackie is sooo easy to converse with. The exam showed that my hearing had gotten slightly worse, and I decided to give hearing aids a try-out. Well, you can't take them from me now -- I'm completely sold! I hadn't realised how withdrawn I'd become until I was wearing them every day. Suddenly I was actually seeing more of my surroundings because I could hear so much more. Now I'm excited to go out with friends, get phone calls (my hearing aids are linked to my iPhone -- love that!), and visit with our large family. I'm much more conscious and aware, and doing a lot less straining to read lips. Thank you!” -Jen Meadows, Nelson
“I have been wearing hearing aids for thirty years and over this period I have had many hearing aids fitted. I have consulted with several audiologists—both private and corporate—in three different countries. Jackie at Little Bird Audiology is undoubtedly the best audiologist I have encountered over three decades. She is highly professional, conscientious, and dedicated to getting the best results for her client. She pays close attention to her client’s needs and preferences, which is not always the case when dealing with the larger hearing aid companies. I found her to be extremely patient and understanding while addressing my concerns and needs. I can recommend her without reservation.” -Dr Geoffrey Hayes, Nelson
